Year 7 Parents Evening

We have the pleasure of providing you with the details of Beckfoot Oakbank School’s Year 7 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
We are very pleased to say that our Parents’ Evenings are in person, in school. Appointments are still booked through the online appointment booking system which allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers. When you have booked your appointment times you will receive an automatic email confirmation of your appointments. The appointments on the evening are from 3:30pm until 6:30pm. Appointment times are arranged at 5-minute intervals and parents are asked to keep their conversation to 5 minutes as other parents and carers will be waiting for their appointment.
During the evening you will have the opportunity to speak to all your child’s subjects teachers to discuss the progress they are making in those subjects and crucially, what they need to do to improve.
The online booking system will be available from 10th March 2023 to start making appointments and will remain open until 10:00am on the day of the event. To access the appointment booking system, please click on the Parents tab and then Parents Evening on the on the Beckfoot Oakbank website or visit https://oakbank.schoolcloud.co.uk/. A short guide on how to add appointments is also available under the Parents Evening section.
All students in Year 7 are expected to attend the evening with their parents. Mr Gill, the Year Team Leader, and Mrs Lonsdale, the SENCO, will also be available to make appointments with.
Car parking is available in the main carpark which is accessed by the entrance to the drive on Oakworth Road. Please do not use the Ingrow Lane carpark unless you have a mobility requirement. Please contact school so that we can arrange a parking space for you.
