Catering at Beckfoot Oakbank School is managed by Mellors Catering.
Our overall aim is provide nutritious food to all of our students. We offer a varied for all tastes and cultures and provide a pleasant environment and atmosphere for students to eat in.
We operate a cashless catering system in school, which shares the common biometric database that is used for our printing system and library books. Students accounts can be topped up through the ParentPay website. ParentPay will also allow you to see what your child has been buying and consuming while at school.
For students entitled to free school meals, their daily allowance will automatically be credited to their account each day. Meal deals are available from all counters and consist of a main meal and pudding or home bake or water. These cost £2.70, the value of a free school meal.
Fresh drinking water is provided at various points in the school to ensure students can fill up their bottles.
Students who are entitled to Free School Meals have their daily allowance automatically credited to their Cashless Card Account each day in time for break (any unspent allowance will be removed at the end of the school day). Students can top this up with additional money if they want to.
