This course builds on the study of English Literature at GCSE, as you develop an interest and enjoyment of English Literature through reading widely, critically and independently, across time and genre.
Units will provide students with the opportunity to study poetry, Shakespeare, prose, and create their own critical study of two texts of their choice. The course covers older and contemporary texts to provide you with a full picture of literature through the ages.
