So proud of our Post 16 Students on Results Day
We are delighted with the performance of our Y13 students in the 2022 exams.
This cohort did not sit GCSE exams at the end of Y11 and have subsequently had two years of interrupted study due to the pandemic. They have shown resilience, perseverance, and determination to succeed in their studies. The hard work has paid off as seen by the increase in the number of our students achieving the highest grades and continuing their learning – either at university or through apprenticeships. All of our students who want to go to university as their next step have secured places and are excited about this next part of their learning journey.
We are immensely proud of all our students and so glad that they are choosing to continue their studies, through University or Apprenticeships.
We have students going on to study Maths, Geography, Midwifery, Adult Nursing, Primary Teaching, Medicine, Zoology, Physics and Cosmology, Biomedical science, Business, Accounting and Finance and lots more. Some of the destinations they will be studying at are Aberdeen, Manchester, Bangor, St Andrews, Leeds, Lancaster, Leeds, Beckett, Bradford, York.
We have students who in highly competitive circumstances have successfully secured apprenticeships and are straight into the world of work. We are so proud that they are taking their next steps this way.
Well done to all of the students for their hard work – and thanks to their families who have supported them throughout their school career. We are incredibly proud of our students’ successes and wish them well on the next part of their journey. A final thanks to all of the staff who have worked with the students during their time at Beckfoot Oakbank.
