Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. Parents' Evening

Parent-Eve-ImageWe have the pleasure of providing you with the details of Beckfoot Oakbank School’s Tutor Parents’ on Thursday 23rd September 2021.

Dear Parent/Carer,

Tutor Parents’ Evening

Our first Tutor Parents Evening is due to take place on Thursday 23rd September 3.30pm-6.30pm. The purpose of this event is for you to meet your child’s form tutor, discuss your child’s start to the year and share with us any concerns that you may have. Their form tutor sees them every day and we believe it is important that you speak to them early in the year so that any issues can be dealt with and so that the tutor can be a point of contact, and pass to you information that is helpful, particularly anything of a positive nature and/or areas to work on as the year progresses.

Our Parents’ Evening will be virtual this year.

The Tutor Parents’ evening will be accessed via an online platform called SchoolCloud. The online appointment booking system allows you to choose your own appointment times with your child’s Tutor. When you have booked your appointment time you will receive an automatic email confirmation of your appointments.

The appointments on the evening are from 3:30pm until 6:30pm and you will make one 5 minute appointment. Appointment times are arranged at 5-minute intervals and due to the nature of video appointments, staff and parents are asked to keep their conversation to 5 minutes as the call will start and finish automatically as per the schedule. This also means that if you join your appointment late, your time to talk to the Tutor will be reduced.

If it is possible, please can your child also be on the appointments.

The online booking system will be available now to start making appointments and will remain open until 10:00am on the day of the event.

To access the appointment booking system, please click on the Parents tab and then Parents Evening on the Beckfoot Oakbank website or visit Here are two short guides on how to make appointments and how to join the video calls.
