Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. Beckfoot Oakbank_RGB

Hello and welcome to our Futures page providing you with details of our careers, progression and aspirational activities aimed at helping each student make informed choices at their futures.

The Team have worked together to bring our Careers programme up-to-date and to offer a wide range of activities, resources and help to students across each year group.

Manny Delgado – Associate Assistant Head - 14-19 Pathways - yd@beckfootoakbank.org - 01535 210111

I am an Associate Assistant Headteacher here at Beckfoot Oakbank who is responsible for a number of different areas of personal development.  I oversee the 14-19 Pathways where we have tuned this towards students’ aspirations and making them future ready for their next steps.  I work closely with Mr Amin who supports our students in providing them opportunities to develop their employability skills and aspirations. I also lead Post 16.  I work closely with the Climate team, which allows a joined-up approach for these facets of personal development to ensure students at Beckfoot Oakbank are fully prepared for the wider world.

Will France – Higher Education Progression Officer – wfrance01@beckfootoakbank.org

I am the new Higher Education Progression Officer at Beckfoot Oakbank. I work closely with Mr Delgado and Mr Grant to support young learners with their future aspirations. This is done in the form of events and various career-related activities. Throughout my education journey, I realised that students have a wealth of resources at their disposal, which can help them progress throughout their educational period. I was fortunate to experience this at a young age, which supported me in making an informed decision over my future. Through the Uni-Connect Programme, I want students from all backgrounds to become aware of the opportunities and accessible resources available to them, which can offer them the knowledge, abilities and motivation to succeed. At Beckfoot Oakbank, I will do all I can to provide students with plenty of opportunities to develop their employability skills and future aspirations.
